Dr. Alex Johnson, a native of Tennessee, received his undergraduate degree from University of Tennessee at Martin and his M.D. from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and completed a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radilogy at the University of Florida, Shands Medical Center in 1996. Dr. Johnson is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a certificate of Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is a member of several professional organizations and made numerous scientific presentations related to radiological issues.  He was also recently awarded fellow status in the American College of Radiology.
