Alex C. Chan, M.D.

Dr. Chan joined Radiology of Huntsville in June of 2000. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology, and holds additional Board Certification in Neuroradiology. Dr. Chan earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines where he also received his M.D. in 1980. He completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital, Manila, Philippines. He completed diagnostic radiology residencies at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York and at City of Faith Medical and Research Center at the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in Tulsa, Okalahoma. He went on to earn fellowships in neuroradiology at the Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami Florida and a second year at Columbia University in New York. He holds senior memberships in the American Society of Neuroradiology, the American Society of Spine Radiology, and the World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology, and is an active member of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery as well as membership in numerous other professional organizations. He has published several papers and articles and has received numerous lecture invitations.
