doc_gGum.gifDr. Gum is Board Certified in Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology. He began his undergraduate work at Tulane University earning a B.S. in Biology, graduating cum laude. He received his M.D., also from Tulane University, in 1982. Dr. Gum completed a general medicine internship and his radiology residency at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. In 1988, he earned a neuroradiology fellowship at Tulane University. Dr. Gum has published papers, made numerous presentations and is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, American Medical Association, American Society of Neuroradiology (senior member), Southeastern Neuroradiological Society, and several others.
