 Dr. Matherne, Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, joined Radiology of Huntsville in 2006. She completed her undergraduate work at Auburn University earning a B.S. in Physical and graduating cum laude. She received her M.D. from University of South Alabama. Dr. Matherne completed an internal medicine internship and her radiology residency at University of South Alabama. In 2005, she completed a musculoskeletal fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York. She has published numerous papers and abstracts and has given several resident and professional presentations. Dr. Matherne is a member of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, American Association of Women Radiologists, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and many other professional organizations.
