Dr. McCormick is an experienced Board Certified radiologist having joined the staff shortly after Radiology of Huntsville was established. An Alabama native, he received a B.S. in Medical Science from Tennessee Technological University and went on to complete his M.D. at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed an internship in general medicine at John Gaston Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and his radiology residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital, also in Memphis. In addition to practicing privately and holding radiology staff positions, Dr. McCormick also served two years as Captain in the Army Medical Corps, and held several teaching positions including guest faculty at the University of Alabama. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and has been an active community service volunteer.
