Alex C. Chan, M.D.
Dr. Chan joined Radiology of Huntsville in June of 2000. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology, and has subspecialty certification in Neuroradiology. Dr. Chan earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines where he also received his M.D. in 1980. He completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital, Manila, Philippines. He completed diagnostic radiology residencies at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York and at City of Faith Medical and Research Center at the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in Tulsa, Okalahoma. He went on to earn a fellowship in neuroradiology at the Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami Florida with his second year at Columbia University in New York. He holds senior memberships in the World Federation of Interventional & Therapeutic Neuroradiology, the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, the American Society of Neuroradiology, and the American Society of Spine Radiology, as well as membership in numerous other professional organizations. He has published several papers and articles and has received numerous lecture invitations.
