Experience
Dr. Suraj Kapoor joined Radiology of Huntsville in July 2026. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed both his diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship in neuroradiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Dr. Kapoor’s clinical interests include neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, and body and chest imaging. He enjoys working closely with physicians across specialties to answer complex clinical questions through thoughtful imaging interpretation.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kapoor enjoys spending time with his wife, Sabina, and their dog, Nala. His interests include rock climbing, cooking, travel, computer technology, and cars. He and his wife are excited to make Huntsville home and become part of the North Alabama community.
