Experience
Dr. Chase Mitchell is a North Alabama native being a Cherokee High School graduate and having earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama where he finished magna cum laude and with Honors. His medical training took him from medical school and internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, to diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and ultimately to the University of Virginia where he completed a Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship before joining Radiology of Huntsville. While at MUSC, he thoroughly enjoyed his extensive training in Cardiothoracic Radiology which continues to be an area of focus in addition to Musculoskeletal Radiology. His hobbies include spending time with his family, sous vide cooking, adventure sports, fly fishing, and informatics.
