Experience
Dr. Thomas Owens joined Radiology of Huntsville in July 2010. He graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. and M.S. in Materials Engineering. After a nine-year career with NASA in Huntsville, Dr. Owens continued on to the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham where he earned his M.D. degree in 2004. His transitional internship and radiology residency were at Baptist Health System in Birmingham. In 2010 Dr. Owens completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. Dr. Owens is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
